Bloom Conference Speakers:

Tara L. Banks
Speaker, Bloom Conference 2024
Tara secretly wrote behind her computer screen for 12 years. It wasn’t until she decided to write her first book and accidentally lost every word she’d ever written that she knew the topic had to be what God was teaching her through everyday moments like that one.
This led to her first published book, a 40 Day Devotional titled “Waiting on Wonders”, released in February 2023. She also enjoys writing on Instagram, or her blog of the same name, “Waiting on Wonders”. (@waitingonwonders)
You’ll find her speaking on podcasts, at conferences and events, and sharing her experiences through mentoring and coaching. Tara is a worship pastor at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
She is married to her college sweetheart, Greg, and they have two sons, Ethan and Brody, and a daughter-in-love, Lydia. When she is not tinkering with her ’73 CJ-5 Jeep or dreaming of Hawaii, you will more than likely find her waiting on wonders.

Jill Forbes
Speaker, Bloom Conference 2024
Jill grew up in the Washington, DC area and migrated south for college. She has a degree in Religious Education from Gardner-Webb University, where she also got her MRS. degree.
She and her husband, Heath, have three kids: Will, Micah, and Lydia. Traveler. Homemaker(ish). TV watcher. Crafter. Natural birth advocate. Spanish speaking wannabe. Minivan driver. Organic shopper. Beach lover. Mosquito hater.
Jill’s resume is littered with randomness, but she hung up her “stay-at-home mom” hat three years ago to open Lumber Jill’s Axe Throwing Lounge (@throwlumberjills) with Heath. When it comes to women and ministry, she has one heart’s cry… for you to live free.

FAQs
Have questions? We have answers. Read through our FAQ’s below, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, send us a message bloomconferencellc@gmail.com
Who should come to the conference and events?
All women are welcome at Bloom Conference and Events. We have women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and some veteran mamas!
What will I get out of this?
We will provide so many opportunities for growth and connection at Bloom, but it is up to you to truly get something out of it. Talk to someone new, listen with open hearts and minds. Come ready to be challenged to grow. And of course, you will get some swag and possibly win a raffle prize!
What if I have to come alone?
That is wonderful! You will be in a room full of women wanting to connect and talk! Be bold and brave and come!
Can I bring my kids?
No, this is an event just for the ladies! If you have a baby under 3 months old and need to have him/her there to feed, we completely understand and are more than welcome to bring your baby. However, otherwise, this is a kid-free zone. We know that may mean you get childcare or make arrangements with your husband, but moms you are worth it!
Are there scholarships available?
Yes, scholarships do become available. Please email us if interested.
Can I give a scholarship for someone?
We want everyone to be able to come and know finances can be a struggle. We love the opportunity to offer scholarships and are able to do this through donations. If you are interested in helping to pay the way for other women who may not be financially able to invest in a ticket to an event, please send an email with Scholarship in the subject line.
Does everyone get a swag bag at the conference?
Yes, everyone who orders a ticket for Bloom gets a swag bag! The bags are full of great products!
What should I wear?
You do you! Wear what you are comfortable in! There is usually a mixture of dresses, jeans, shorts, and scrubs!
Will there be food?
Most definitely! We will provide breakfast and lunch.
Is there a cancellation or refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for tickets after purchase.
